This year has been a bit of a whirlwind, so I am only just getting time to update you on the beautiful job we undertook back in the Summer! So Apologies for that! The Millboard decking team here at Proud Gardens were proudly able to transform the historic grounds of Packington Estate - situated between Birmingham & Coventry - and give it a updated, yet suitable modern decking that will have the longevity a building like this requires; using our finest product; a version of composite decking manufactured by Millboard Decking.
The area to which we installed the Millboard decking was currently out of use due to the access being to steep & would often turn a little slippy; so we essentially had a blank canvas to work with to help make the area more usable and accessible. The client had a detailed vision of how she wished the new decking to look so it was our job to bring that to life!
Using Millboard’s ‘Enhanced Grain’ decking in the colour ‘Golden Oak’ really complimented the historic building’s stone coloured exterior and in turn made both the composite decking & house more vibrant and warm. The decking was installed upon a composite plas-pro subframe which will maximise the lifetime of the deck & ensure no rotting in the years to come! The ideal choice for a building that has been around for so many years!
With a few changes & adjustments along the way to create the perfect end result. We really feel we have installed something spectacular with every precise angle & cut only adding to what was already a stunning building!
