How durable is the Millboard product in comparison to other decking? Millboard has a 25 year residential guarantee; there hardly any upkeep to keeping your decking looking as good as the day you got it.

How do I clean my Millboard composite decking? Remove spills and marks with a mild detergent and a cloth or brush - no need for any solvents, chemicals or abrasive cleaners. To keep your millboard in tip top condition clean it every 12-18months to remove general dirt and leaf particials. Water and a broom will do the trick!

What is Millboard Decking like in the winter? Millboard stays the same all year round! If you find yourself wanting to tackle any ice in the winter, a small amount of granulated white salt (not rock salt) can be used and simple wash it off with soapy water and a soft broom when the warm weather returns.

What is Millboard decking like in the Summer heat? As with all composite products, the surfaces will get hotter when exposed to direct sunlight. Darker colours particularly will feel hotter, so i would proabably suggested popping your flip flops on mid afternoon sunshine. However, as Millboard is made from a resin mineral composition the expanding and contracting of boards in the heat is minimal in comparison to plastic based decking or timber.

 
 
 

Do I need to treat or seal my Millboard decking? No treating or sealing required! The Millboard product is sealed in the factory & will last it's lifetime.

Can I use Millboard anywhere? Yes! pretty much! Millboard is very versatile, balconies, decking areas, outdoor dining areas, pool, hot tub & spa surrounds, the list goes on! Also, new to the Millboard range is their brand new cladding product! Which can be used on most exterior walls. Got an idea in mind? Give us a call & we can help bring it to life!

Is Millboard safe & slip resistent? Very! This is something of high importance to Millboard so they have ensured extreme testing of the product and the coating given to each board. When you compare this to timber decking when it gets a little wet, there is no question of the better product!

What is the subframe made of? The ideal companion to our all-weather composite decking is Millboard's DuoSpan subframe system. This combines the strength of aluminium & the design flexibility of recycled plastic.
